Saturday kicked off the 2020 Atlanta wedding season with a bang!
The event was held at the gorgeous Little River Farms in Alpharetta Georgia, just outside of Atlanta. The couple chose the venue because the quaint setting reminded them of home while still being close enough for all their friends and family to travel to.
The couple, who met in college, wanted an intimate feel and an emphasis on family and close friends. “Family is very important to both of us. We are incorporating family throughout the day. We hope that our wedding will be very romantic and intimate. We both prefer spending time with those who are close to us and holding these people close. We believe in the quality of quantity and that a small, close circle isn’t a bad thing!” Said Sarah.
Every wedding vendor came together to fulfill the couple’s wishes, romance and intimacy were definitely the overall messages received! Gorgeous floral pieces by Righteous Oaks Floral covered every inch of the place and the entire venue smelled as if you had stepped into a flower shop.
The groom looked dapper in a black tuxedo and the bride stunned in a beaded gown fit for a princess. The couple shared a first look in the ceremony room prior to the event. The two exchanged letters while sitting side by side taking in the magnitude of the day. Shevin, the groom had to stop reading because he was so overcome with emotion. A beautiful moment felt by all present.
The ceremony was lit by the small flicker of candlelight and warm chandeliers that hung overhead. The bride’s Grandfather gave the couple a beautiful reading as they took the next step in their journey together.
After the ceremony, the couple made their way to the reception dinner where even more florals and candlelight set the mood. The table settings by The Prissy Plate Company made a huge statement and added to the overall theme of romance.
After dinner friends and family hit the dance floor! Their wedding band, Emerald Empire, energized the crowd and made sure the celebration was felt by all!
The couple ended the night with a flower petal exit and was whisked away to continue their own private celebration after the big day!
