Back in April of 2016 I had the opportunity to study under the amazing Hunter Leon of Three Nails Photography.
Durning this three day weekend Grant and I traveled to New Orleans and emerged ourselves in the rich culture there. I had never been, can you believe it?! Nola certainly didn’t disappoint and neither did Hunter. The weekend included learning step by step set building practices, Hunter teaching us his magical ways around a camera, and the most “worth it” moment of all was an entire afternoon diving not photoshop with him as our lead.

You wouldn’t believe it, these windows are actually made of welcome mats that are stapled together!
Behind it we set up a construction light to shine in.
Add a fog machine and you have what appears to be a magical dungeon full of gorgeous light.
Then we took it to the woods!
