What an amazing opportunity to shoot at such a dream location, The Goat Farm. Home of several Walking Dead episodes, a Hunger Games district, and last but certainly not least Emma and Danny’s pretend romantic industrial elopement.

Nestled in Atlanta’s West Midtown, The Goat Farm was once home to cotton machinery and even at one point during World War II, the complex produced ammunition and mortars. Now it’s home to artist of all sorts. On any given day you can find sculptors, painters, and makers of all sorts hidden out in one of the more corridors found along the property. (My husband and I even spent our first Valentines Day together here at “Mr. Sketchy’s”, a boudoir style drawing workshop.)

Emma and Danny didn’t disappoint. The pair paid homage to the World War II era the space is nostalgic of as Danny wore classic red suspenders and Emma emulated the ladies hairstyles of the time. We wanted to give the images that “about to ship off to war” feeling and I think we totally pulled it off!

The two were the essence of romance as they nestled into eachothers arms durning our intimate posing scenes. Hard work certainly paid off though because at their end of a long (and extremely hot) day we all treated ourselves to the tastiest cake south of the Mason Dixon!
