Emily & Kevin’s backyard Atlanta wedding was more than just two people getting hitched, but rather a celebration of life. After surviving a life changing event a few years back the pairs family and friends were down to honor more than just their love but the strength and perseverance that gave Kevin a second chance. On the way home that night Grant and I couldn’t stop talking about how amazing their friends and family were. Tight knit is an understatement. The camaraderie between this group is absolutly uncanny and beyond that they had an incredible way of somehow making us feel part of that. The event was scattered with personal nuances. Not only did they get married in their on back yard but the bride wore a veil gifted to her by the grooms family, an Irish tradition for that side dating 3 generations back. Their beloved family pup Rugar had me calling him 5 different nicknames by the end of the day, basically stealing the entire show with his charm. The dance floor was absolutly on fire as these Atlanta natives celebrated their roots with local hip-hop tracks. We are so incredibly excited to have celebrated with you two and cant wait to see what the future holds for you as Mr. and Mrs. Heery.
