Sunday’s downtown Roswell engagement session with Natalie and Tommy was a complete dream! As summer winds down and cooler air starts making its way into the south, engagement session season begins. What a dream couple to kick this beautiful time of year off with! Natalie and Tommy’s shoot was so natural. Their chemistry was what I hope for in every couple. A perfect mix of laughter, stolen glances, and lots of kisses.
We started the session at Naylor Hall right off Canton Street in downtown Roswell. The couple popped some bubbly and toasted one another in celebration of this relationship milestone. After that we walked the grounds together stopping for photos as the beautiful glow of the sun peeked its way through the properties magnolia trees.
Natalie’s childhood home is just 10 minutes from downtown Roswell and Tommy actually proposed to her at the Roswell Mill so it was only suiting that we had their engagement session here.
The old south beauty didn’t end there. After Naylor Hall we traveled over to Barrington Hall, another historic home in the downtown Roswell area. Barrington Hall was home to Barrington King, co-founder of Roswell Georgia.
The surrounding seven acres of Barrington Hall features the only antebellum public garden in the greater Atlanta area. Built in 1839 this Greek Revival-style home is a real show stopper of the Roswell area and the perfect engagement session location for any couple looking for some southern charm.
After touring the gardens we ended the session with the couple exactly how they hope to grow old together, on a front porch sitting in a pair of rocking chairs holding hands.
I am over the moon thrilled to have been able to capture a piece of their love story and I’m very much looking forward to their wedding day at Little River Farms next summer. Wishing you all the best till then!
